Association objectives

The association is constantly developing its services and offerings.

Over time, the number of women increased after new members joined, who committed themselves, like their predecessors, to the principles and goals of the association. With the efforts of the female element (as no male members joined the association, nor was it sponsored by businessmen or private companies), the association today includes the Sarah Daouk Center for Family and Social Services, an integrated health center, a model nursery, an early diagnosis and intervention center for people with special needs, Dar Al Karama for the elderly, a craft sewing center, vocational and cultural training centers, an auditorium, Cultural center. The association is constantly developing its services and offerings, taking into account the humanitarian situation of families, and is keen to ensure that the entire community enjoys its rights and a dignified life.

association's activities

A hospital serving the people of Beirut

This interest in the health sector has evolved into a hospital that has been serving the people of Beirut since 1972. The hospital has witnessed several updates in its infrastructure, equipment and medical staff. The health sector of the association now includes a laboratory, a pharmacy, a primary health care center, a radiology department and a dental clinic.

Projects for people with special needs

In line with the latest technologies and scientific progress, the association established in 2000 the Early Diagnosis and Intervention Center for Children with Special Needs. The proceeds of these projects go directly to funding the association’s deprived families within the Sarah Daouk Social Center.

Mother welfare and all of its programs

The development of society and its needs prompted the association to include maternal care in its programs. As women became more present in the workforce, the association established the model nursery. Soon after, the association introduced vocational and development centers to teach nursery workers, nurses, seamstresses, and handicrafts.
